When we were in Phoenix, Arizona, we stayed with Henri’s cousin, JJ, and her husband, Brandon. JJ knew that I was trying to eat clean, but that I could cheat a little bit since it was off season for bodybuilding. This was the dessert she created for me:
Step 1: Cut angel food cake into quarters.
Step 3: Add fresh berries. She used 1/3 cup strawberries, 1/3 cup blueberries and 1/3 cup blackberries.
Angel food cake= 129
Chobani vanilla Greek yogurt= 120
1/3 cup strawberries= 18
1/3 cup blueberries= 28
1/3 cup blackberries= 21
French vanilla whipped light cream=It’s 15 calories for 2 Tbsp, but clearly I used a
little bit lot more, so let’s go with 45 calories
To really be clean, just eat the fruit and yogurt, but it is called Decadent Dessert after all…and did I mention I had it on vacation? (It was REALLY good.)
