What’s Your Favorite Coffee?

My new trainer, Mel, allows me one (1) cup of coffee per day, and (this is a big “and” here,) CREAMER!!!!!  Mostly I make my coffee at home but today I had to drive my husband, Henri, to work because his truck is still broken (it needs a new motor) so I bought McDonald’s coffee because it was close.  Here’s the thing:  McDonald’s coffee tastes really bitter to me, so I added (no kidding) 6 packets of Splenda.

Let’s play fill in the blanks.  My blogger friend  Cindy says, “my favourite _______ in a world where calories didn’t exist would be _________.”   So, my favorite coffee in a world where calories didn’t exist would be a Starbucks caramel macchiato upsidedown with 4 packets of sugar, extra caramel and whip cream.  (And you wondered why I was size 14???)

If calories didn’t exist what would be your favorite coffee?

Lisa ;)

  1. The only way I’ll take coffee is loaded with about everything. I like McDonalds Caramel Frappe and all the similar yummies at Starbucks, but it’s the equivalent to a huge dessert, so have to limit them to about once a week or two.

  2. I had to read that twice to realise it was my quote LOL!

I’ve started making my coffee with lite coconut milk because my cream habit was getting in the way of real food. It’s ok, but it’s far from my favourite coffee where calories didn’t exist of a Starbucks venti caramel macchiato with extra caramel and whipped cream. 🙂

  3. i am not a coffee drinker ( i hate the taste and hate the smell even more!), but give me a Grande Non-Fat No Water Tazo Chai Latte from Starbucks and I am one happy, sugar buzzing, girl!

  4. I never drank coffee until 3 years ago when I was sick of going out for coffee but only ever having hot chocolate. When I started it was reasonably weak with 2 or 3 sugars. Now it’s strong and no sugar, basically because I try to be sugar free, and I hate sweeteners with a passion. I have a nespresso machine at home so make my own.

  5. With Vannilla flavored creamer and half and half. About half of the 20 oz cup filled with coffee and the other half filled with half and half and a splash of flavored creamer.

  6. I make mine with unsweeted coconut milk, put lots of cinnamon and a bit of stevia. I love the caramel frappucvino from Starbucks 😉
