Tell Me Something Good

All sorts of good things are happening and I’m excited for the future.  Tuesday’s are the day when I tell you my good news and you tell me yours.  Call it your pre-hump day boost.  By the way, here is the Geico hump day commercial.  I know I posted it before but every time I watch it it gives me the giggles.

Here’s My Good News

  1. I’m on the verge of Facebook bliss.  999 people like my page!   Will you be the 1,000th?  Click here to like it:
  2. My doctor said I can do stomach exercises again.  So now I look at my flabby stomach and say, “Alright you pimp ass motherf***er, bring it!”
  3. This is going to sound weird, so I’ll try to word it properly.  Today would have been my dad’s 75th birthday, had he survived cancer.  (He died 11 years ago.)  Normally I wake up on this day and cry, because I miss him.  But this morning I woke up and instead of crying I just thought what a great life he had and how happy he made me feel growing up.  It feels good to be celebrating his life.  (This is a post I wrote on his birthday last year:  Why I Run Marathons)
